Privacy Policy

This is a general template. Operators should have it reviewed for their jurisdiction before launch.

Your text and selections are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. We designed SymbolTap to work without accounts and without collecting the content you type or copy.

What stays on your device

• Favorites, recently used items, saved combinations and your skin-tone and theme preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage only.
• You can remove all of it any time using “Clear saved data” in the footer.

What we do not collect

• We do not store the text you enter into any tool.
• We do not send your search terms or generated text to our servers.
• We do not require or collect personal information.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are used. Only coarse, anonymous events (such as “an emoji was copied”) are recorded — never the text you typed or your full search terms. IP anonymization is enabled.

Advertising

Ads are not currently enabled. If enabled, we would use Google AdSense, which may set cookies; see our Cookie Policy.
